PROSOFT ILX69-PBM PROFIBUS is a fieldbus module for industrial automation technology, specific features and functions are as follows:
Basic overview:
The ILX69-PBM is a PROFIBUS DPV1 master module manufactured by ProSoft.
It provides all the benefits of PROFIBUS communication within the chassis and supports the CompactLogix™ processor to communicate with slave devices compliant with the PROFIBUS DPV0 and DPV1 protocols.
Functional features:
AOI (Additional Instructions) : Integration of module communication in Studio/RSLogix 5000 using Sample Additional Instructions (AOI) or sample ladder logic files reduces debugging time.
Autoscan: A new automatic scanning feature reduces startup time and simplifies troubleshooting by scanning the PROFIBUS network and uploading slave device addresses and configuration information.
ComDTM (Remote Ethernet Connectivity) : Allows remote Ethernet connectivity via asset management software, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
SD card slot: Used to store configuration files in the event of a disaster and can be used to update the firmware of the module without the need for a 1769 CPU.

Input data: maximum 5712 bytes of acyclic data.
DPV1 status data: 88 bytes.
