ABB Introduces New Arc Welding Solutions with Fronius Technology

ABB has unveiled two new products featuring Fronius technology.

The first, ArcPack U2, includes the advanced ABB IRB 1520ID arc welding robot equipped with Fronius equipment.

This modular, entry-level welding cell has two fixed stations and a twin table configuration, perfect for small components.

It can be offered as a complete welding function package or a fully integrated cell at a competitive price.

The second product is an EthernetIP™ integrated communications interface designed for programming and operating Fronius

power sources using the ABB FlexPendant, an intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) by ABB. This centralized programming

interface allows for seamless control of welding data via the FlexPendant. ABB FlexArc cells and welding packages can also be

enhanced with the ABB-Fronius EthernetIP interface option.

HMS Industrial Networks and Red Lion Controls
