I. Product Overview

The Woodward 8402 series analog speed control board from the original factory of the United States, a dedicated power drive speed control unit for diesel / biogas / natural gas generator sets. It receives 4-20mA/0-5V remote speed commands + MPU magnetic pulse speed measurement signals, directly drives the EPG electromagnetic actuator, and belongs to the same EPG electronic speed control system as 8440-1706D, 8290-191 that you previously checked. It is mainly used for old equipment replacement parts in oilfield biogas generator sets, distributed gas power generation, and small diesel self-contained power stations.

Closed-loop PID speed closed-loop control: MPU collects the generator speed in real time, compares with the set value and outputs the driving signal to adjust the throttle opening

Start gas volume limit: Hardware potentiometer sets the maximum gas supply / oil volume for startup, prevents overspeed shutdown during cold start

High and low speed passive alarm contacts: Dry contact outputs for overspeed and underspeed, interlocks the generator to stop for protection

Local / remote speed control switching: Terminal short-circuit to switch between local panel local speed control or DCS remote 4-20mA speed control
