I. Product Introduction

Model: 8440-1706 D (D version), Woodward SPM-D11 series integrated digital speed control module, manufactured by the original factory in the United States, 2301A speed regulation platform integrated version, combining speed regulation + automatic synchronous connection + load distribution in one, without the need for an external 9907 load board to enable multi-machine connection. It is a standard component for diesel/gasoline generator sets and small steam turbines self-contained power stations.

D version is an optimized software and hardware version: enhanced anti-interference, expanded speed measurement frequency, and improved Modbus communication, replacing the previous versions A/B/C.

Three Core Functions

Digital Speed Control

Isochronous mode (Isoch) constant frequency, droop mode (Droop) under-grid droop control, two modes; remote 0-5V/4-20mA set speed, suitable for diesel engines, gas engines, small steam turbine throttle / valve regulation.

Built-in SPM automatic synchronous matching

Automatically match voltage, frequency, phase, zero impact grid connection closing, supports dead bus grid connection (black start), eliminates external SPM-D synchronizer (8440-2168), saves cabinet space.

Built-in load distribution

Built-in power detection, multi-unit parallel automatic division of active power, single module can achieve parallel operation, can be networked with up to 32 units in parallel operation, equipped with CT/PT wiring, no need for external 9907-173 load board.

Additional: Dual-line LCD screen, local viewing of speed, load, fault code, grid connection status, fault self-diagnosis alarm output dry contact.
