Function description:

The IS220PPDAH1B is an embedded controller module manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe family used in GE distributed turbine control systems. The Power QUICC II Pro Freescale processor running at 667 MHz can be found in the embedded controller module. UDH is connected via two 10/100BaseTX Ethernet ports, while IONet is connected via three additional 10/100BaseTX Ethernet ports. Application code runs on UCCx controllers, a family of single-board 6U High CompactPCI® (CPCI) processors. The controller is installed in a CPCI cabinet and is connected to I/O packets using a built-in I/O network interface. The controller’s operating system (OS) is QNX Neutrino®, a real-time multitasking operating system created for industrial applications that require extreme speed and reliability. I/O, Operator,

Installation:

The controller module consists of at least one controller and a four-slot CPCI rack with one or two power supplies. The leftmost slot must contain the primary controller (slot 1). A single rack can accommodate a second, third, and fourth controller. During storage, the CMOS battery is unplugged via the processor board jumper to extend battery life. Reinstall the battery jumper when inserting the board. Refer to the individual UCCx module drawings for information on jumper location. CMOS RAM Settings, internal date, and real-time clock are all battery-powered. Since the BIOS has set the CMOS Settings to the default level, there is no need to change them. Just reset the real-time clock. The system NTP server or the ToolboxST application can be used to set the initial time and date.
