Bently Nevada 125720-01 was a privately held American company between 1961 and 2002, during which time it pioneered the introduction of vortex proximity probes, sensors that revolutionized the measurement of high-speed turbomachinery vibration by looking directly at the axis of rotation. The company has also conducted significant research in the area of rotor dynamics, which has deepened understanding of mechanical failures such as shaft cracks and fluid-induced instability. Its research also contributes to the improvement of the equations used to describe the vibration behavior of rotor dynamic systems.

The 3500TMR configuration performs the monitoring voting function by selecting the installation function of the MONITOR option. In this way, TMR TDI constantly compares the output of the three redundant monitors. If TMR TDI detects that the output of one monitor is not equal to the output of the other two monitors (within the configured percentage range), it issues an error indication to the monitor.

l Rack mounting — Mount the 3U or 6U case on a 19-inch EIA rail. As a retrofit, two 3U units or a single 6U* contour specification has been designed to fit into the space of a single 19-inch rack-mounted 3500 unit.

l Partition – Usually installed in protective housing fixed to subpanels, in 3U Mini *, 3U 19″ standard, and 6U 19″ standard * configurations. NEMA 4 and 4X weatherproof enclosures are available when environmental protection is required or when purged air is used.
