AMCI combines independent rotary transformer technology and PLC communication in a plug-in module. These fully programmable modules provide one to four rotator inputs to provide absolute position, tachometer and fault diagnosis data for single – and multi-turn applications.
AMCI’s Linear Displacement Sensor interface module provides absolute position and speed data to the programmable controller and is a direct connection between Balluff and MTS linear Displacement sensors (ldt) with a start/stop or PWM output.
These modules provide a direct connection to most sensors that output SSI data. Programmable features include: clock rate, data type, position presets, count direction, and data scaling.
AMCI’s programmable limit switch modules each accept an axle-position feedback parser input and control the output based on the parser position, programmed on/off setpoints, and programmed speed compensation values without processor intervention.
