The GE/Bently Nevada 1900/27 series vibration monitor is a single channel, self-contained, locally installed vibration monitor. It can be used as a standalone mechanical protection device for general purpose or some basic machinery, and provides a built-in 4-20 mA interface for monitoring the trend of parameters in plant control and automation systems. The 1900/27 accepts a single sensor input from a compatible accelerometer, adjusts the signal to a peak speed unit, and provides a local display and status indication, as well as an alarm relay contact output for connecting external alarms.
