Transient Data Interface (TDI) 125800-01 Monitoring system and compatible software between 3500 (system 1 status monitoring and diagnosis software and 3500 system configuration software). TDI integrates the functionality of a 125800-01 rack interface module (RIM) with data collection capabilities for communications processors such as TDXnet.
TDI is located in the slot adjacent to the power supply 3500. It continuously collects steady-state and transient dynamic (waveform) data with the M series display (3500/40M, 3500/42M, etc.) and transmits this data to the Ethernet link of the host software. See the Compatibility section for more information.
Static data capture capability is standard in TDI. However, using the optional channel-enabled disk will allow the TDI to capture dynamic and high-resolution transient data. The TDI also integrates communication processor capabilities within 3500 racks.
Although TDI provides some common features throughout the rack, it is not part of the critical monitoring path that does not affect the normal, normal operation of the overall automatic mechanical protection monitoring system. Each 3500 rack requires a TDI or RIM and always occupies Slot1(next to the power supply).
Start/taxi data
The speed and time of data collected in selected increments increase and decrease the speed interval can be independently programmed to start transient data collection based on the detection of machine speed in one of two programmable Windows
The number of transient events that can be collected is only limited by the amount of memory available in the module for alarm data collection
l Pre – and post-alarm data
l Static values collected in one second 10 minutes before the race break event 1 minute after every 100ms collected static values in 20 seconds before the event and in a few seconds after the 10 second event
L Collected 2.5 minutes waveform data 10-second interval alarm and collected 1-minute waveform data alarm 10-second interval static value data
TDI collects static values, including values measured by the monitor.
TDI provides four nX static value points for each. The amplitude and phase are returned for each value. Waveform sampling
l Collect waveforms for 48 channels.
l DC coupling waveform
l Asynchronous data operation mode with simultaneous synchronization and interval sampling
l User configurable synchronous waveform sampling rate:
1. Main module
2. 10 BASE-T /100 Base TX(Copper) Ethernet I/O module
3.100 Base-FX(Optical) Ethernet I/O module
4. Indicators indicate the working status of the module
5. Switch hardware
6. USB Configuration Configures or retrieves mechanical data on the interface
7. OK Relay indicates the OK status of the entire rack
8. Signal common external ground terminal
9. RJ-45 Ethernet port, used for configuration and data collection
10. System connection
11. Optical Ethernet port, used for configuration and data collection
